Net Prophet 2.0 Stats
We are humbled by the success of what is only the second iteration of Net Prophet. The local digital community came in force, along with droves of new faces, all hungry to learn more about making business sense of the Internet.
It’s amazing that we were able to keep this event completely free for delegates to attend a second year running. Events of this scale simply don’t happen without the generous support of sponsors (Old Mutual, White Wall Web, RSAWEB, Yola & Twokats Communications). Special kudos must go to Twokats Communications for all of their behind the scenes work on our PR and media concerns.
The scale of Net Prophet 2.0 was quite different to that of our first event. Take a look at some of the stats:

I was one of the 74% that attended for the first time. Well done for organising such a great event, and glad to hear the event was such a great success
That last stat is absolutely classic.
Thank you guys for hosting an utterly amazing event – and I am looking forward to it next year!
Ha ha these stats are awesome and very interesting.
Thank you for such an amazing and inspiring 2010 event – can’t wait for 2011.
I attended last year’s event as well. Come 2011 – will be the time to move to Convention Centre?
Without a doubt, most popular, demanding event for the future, for almost all industries…
Khalil, I agree that a bigger venue will be needed. Seeing as How Old Mutual sponsors the event, I dont see CTICC happening?
How about ramping it up a notch next year, and having multiple satellite rooms along with one big venue/hall so that various speakers can be presenting at the same time? Then Old Mutual would be able to fit in a few hundred more people. CTICC not needed
Hi. Great event. I watched the big screen all the time. It would not have mattered if the presenter was in London, Silicon Valley or Helsinki. Can we not have an event with lots of big screens around the world.
Great stats and once again, big up to you guys for putting it all on for free!
Thanks for all the comments!
